Yemeni army managed to control Mokha's Khabat district, as it removed the mine networks planted by Houthi militias on the coastal line leading to the city, said Yemeni activist Rashad Al Mehwari. He stressed the army's readiness to control Yakhtel area still seized by the militants.
He clarified that the Armed Forces expanded their presence in the Yemeni strategic city to keep the security and to protect private and public possessions and to prevent any potential attacks from the militants during the coming period.
According to local sources, the Arab Coalition launched air raids against a housing building leading to the killing of six civilians, while a land mine exploded during the passage of a military vehicle leading to the injury of a number of soldiers in Taiz.
In the same context, Emirati Red Crescent provided large amounts of humanitarian aids to help the residents of Mokha's villages to ease the deteriorating conditions there.
The Houthi militias clashed with the resistance forces loyal to Yemen's legitimate government in the Eastern side of the city, as the governmental troops managed to counter an attack from Houthi militias in Dawa district. The clashes continued for two hours before the governmental troops' success to force them to retreat to their sites.
